Doug Sandall & Dale Poune, known together as The Double D’s, are out with Future Dreams, a full-length album that marries storytelling with rich musicality. The 13-track release—features songs such as “The Traveler,” “Fade Away,” “I Bought the Farm,” and “Love Mechanic”.

Dale Poune’s decades of experience shine throughout the album. In addition to his work in The Double D’s, Poune continues to tour and perform with country-legend Lacy J. Dalton as guitarist and mandolinist, reinforcing his position as a versatile and seasoned musician.

The album was crafted with care, allowing Poune’s instrumental breadth—guitar, mandolin, dobro—and Sandall’s lyrical sensibility to coexist fluidly. The Double D’s bring an intimate yet expansive sound that captures the balance between personal reflection and universal themes. The duo is touring now to promote Future Dreams locally.
